Devilskin concert halted by fecal incident in New Zealand

During Devilskin's July 25 show at the University of Otago's Union Hall in Dunedin, a concert‑goer suffered a medical emergency and defecated in the middle of the mosh pit. The odor prompted vomiting among attendees and forced lead singer Jennie Skulander to pause the performance while security escorted the individual from the venue.

The band later responded with humor, offering a “Diaper of Doom” merchandise item to fans. Etiquette expert Jo Hayes described the episode as “appalling, grotesque, barbaric behavior” and called for fines and bans for such conduct. No arrests were made, and the incident was treated as an accidental health issue rather than deliberate disruption.
