Devin Booker and Nike announce Chevrolet-inspired Book 2 sneakers

NBA star Devin Booker and Nike are collaborating on a series of four Nike Book 2 colorways inspired by his personal collection of vintage Chevrolet Impalas.

The first release, titled the Nike Book 2 ‘Pretty Penny’, is modeled after Booker’s 1959 Chevrolet Impala convertible. The sneaker features a color palette reflecting the vehicle, including sand drift uppers, sail soles, and brown lining. Design details include metallic silver parts mimicking chrome trim, tongue treatments inspired by hood ornaments, and a metal charm resembling a car key.

A limited pre-release will occur in Detroit, Michigan, at the Burn Rubber shop during the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15, 2026. A global release via Nike SNKRS is scheduled for August 26, 2026, with a retail price of $155. The remaining three models, inspired by Impalas from 1958, 1962, and 1963, are expected to launch sequentially in December 2026.
