Devin Cooley brings pet rabbit to Calgary Flames game
Calgary Flames goaltender Devin Cooley brought his seven-year-old pet rabbit, Tito, to the Scotiabank Saddledome ahead of a game against the Anaheim Ducks. Tito, who wears a custom Flames shirt, has a social media following of over 12,000 managed by Cooley and his partner, Natalie Weyers.
The appearance was part of an initiative with the Calgary Humane Society to promote animal adoption. Several other Flames players also arrived at the arena with dogs from the local shelter to encourage adoption efforts.
On the ice, Cooley has faced a challenging start to the season, entering the matchup with a 0-2-0 record, a 5.01 goals-against average, and an .818 save percentage. This follows a more successful previous campaign where he recorded a .909 save percentage over 31 games.
