DEVK Pensionsfonds-AG announces new executive board

DEVK Pensionsfonds-AG, Germany’s largest pension fund, is restructuring its executive board. Effective October 1, Oliver Wagner and Christoph Kürz will join Joachim Gallus to form a three-member board. These appointments are subject to approval by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

The new structure redistributes responsibilities among the members. Joachim Gallus will continue to manage investments, while Oliver Wagner will take charge of sales. Christoph Kürz will oversee operations, actuarial services, and IT.

The changes follow the departure of Dr. Michael Zons and Lutz Lammert. Zons will step down from the pension fund board at the end of the year to focus on his role as a DEVK Group executive, and Lammert will concentrate on his duties as the responsible actuary for DEVK Pensionsfonds-AG.
