Devon and Cornwall Police investigate Callington burglary spike

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating a series of burglaries targeting homes in Callington and the surrounding villages. Since September 19, authorities have received reports of four burglaries in Callington and two in the St Ann’s Chapel area.

Stolen items include jewellery, cash, and war medals. In some instances, thieves caused ‘significant damage’ to the premises. Police have advised residents to enhance home security, avoid leaving signs that a property is unoccupied, and ensure CCTV or doorbell cameras are functional.
