Devon County Council proposes East Devon parking restrictions

Devon County Council has proposed a series of strict new parking and loading restrictions across various locations in East Devon.

In Budleigh Salterton, Fore Street and High Street are slated for “No Loading At Any Time” restrictions. Other areas including Clyst St George, Colaton Raleigh, and Colyton will see “No Waiting At Any Time” restrictions on specific roads. In Colyton’s Market Place, parking would be limited to one hour between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday.

Exmouth faces extensive changes, including “No Waiting At Any Time” restrictions on numerous streets such as Elm Road, Exeter Road, and Long Causeway. Victoria Road is proposed to become a residents' parking zone between 8am and 8pm, with a section of the road transitioning to a Pay & Display area. Additionally, motor caravans may face parking prohibitions in certain sections.
