Devon humanitarian convoy departs for Ukraine
A humanitarian aid convoy has departed from Devon, United Kingdom, destined for Ukraine. The convoy includes vehicles from Bob the Bus, a Totnes-based charity, which will remain in Ukraine to assist with evacuations.
Driver Richard Stout is leading the convoy from Stoke Gabriel to Poland. Upon arrival in Poland, the vehicles will be met by Adam Stewart of the Ukrainian Action Team Devon, who will then transport them to Kharkiv. The supplies being delivered include medical aid, power banks, and anti-drone netting donated by Brixham fishing crews.
The Ukrainian Action Team Devon has donated a total of 14 vehicles to date. This latest shipment includes an ambulance and a 4x4 vehicle specifically intended for off-road use to assist civilians and soldiers in remote war zones. The vehicles are intended to help rescue elderly and disabled residents from high-risk regions.
