Devrek: 25-year-old woman dies after falling from fifth floor

Gizem Esen Geldioğlu, a 25-year-old woman, has died after falling from the top floor of a five-story apartment building in the Karşıyaka neighborhood of Devrek, Zonguldak.

Following the fall, Geldioğlu was transported to Devrek State Hospital. Despite medical interventions, she succumbed to her injuries. She was the daughter of local business owners Hüseyin and Şengül Geldioğlu.

A judicial investigation has been launched by the Devrek Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and local law enforcement to determine whether the incident was an accident, a suicide, or caused by external factors. Authorities are currently reviewing surveillance footage and conducting forensic examinations to clarify the circumstances of the fall.
