Devyn Dalton Stunt Double Praised by Matt Damon for 'The Odyssey

Stunt performer Devyn Dalton, a 4‑foot‑5‑inch actress, served as Matt Damon’s double in Christopher Nolan’s film The Odyssey. Damon lauded her, saying she has “the greatest arms I’ve ever seen,” and highlighted the use of forced‑perspective camera tricks to depict the giant Laestrygonians.

Dalton, who began stunt work on 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, follows a rigorous regimen of yoga, weight training, boxing and weapons to stay ready for short‑notice calls. She noted that stunt work is often seen as a male‑dominated field and hopes her visibility helps open doors for more stuntwomen.
