DEWA Leads Dubai Delegation to France for Energy and Water Partnerships

A senior delegation from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), headed by Managing Director and CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, visited Paris to strengthen ties with major French energy firms. The team met with executives from EDF, TotalEnergies and Engie to discuss cooperation on conventional and clean‑energy projects, green‑hydrogen production, energy‑efficiency measures and advanced water‑desalination technologies. DEWA aims to expand its global portfolio through its wholly‑owned subsidiary Dewa International, transferring expertise and building sustainable utility infrastructure worldwide.

The visit is part of Dubai’s broader strategy to raise its international profile and secure partnerships that support the emirate’s renewable‑energy and water‑security goals.
