Dewa United signs Brazilian midfielder Jean Mangabeira

Dewa United has signed Brazilian defensive midfielder Jean Mangabeira to strengthen its squad for the 2026/2027 Super League season. The 28-year-old player joins the Banten-based club following a stint with the Brazilian side Figueirense, where he made 26 appearances.

Mangabeira brings international experience to the team, having previously played in competitions in the Czech Republic and Paraguay. He stated that his decision to join Dewa United was driven by the club’s strong organization and its ambition to win the championship, a goal he noted is aligned with his own professional aspirations.

This signing marks the sixth recruitment for the club this season, following the additions of Muhammad Riyandi, Ko Myeong-seok, Carlos Iury, Denilson, and Ripal Wahyudi. Mangabeira will wear the number 5 jersey and aims to provide defensive solidity and balance to the team's midfield.
