DEWALT expands cordless carpentry tool lineup

DEWALT has announced an expansion of its cordless carpentry tool lineup, introducing several new products designed for professional use. The new additions include a 20V MAX XR 6-1/2 inch plunge track saw, 5-inch and 6-inch random orbital sanders, and a 20V MAX XR oscillating multi-tool capable of cutting through wood, metal, drywall, and plastic.

The expansion also features the 20V MAX XR Cordless 16GA straight finish nailer, which is described as the company’s most compact model in its class, capable of driving up to five nails per second.

In related product coverage, the DEWALT DCS331N XR cordless jigsaw has been identified as a versatile option for DIY projects. While it utilizes a brushed motor rather than a brushless one, the tool features a lever-action keyless blade change, adjustable dust blower, and variable speed trigger, making it suitable for cutting wood, aluminum, and steel.
