Dewi Perssik urges son Gabriel, an Akmil cadet, to prioritize prayer over wealth

Indonesian singer Dewi Perssik said she values spiritual devotion for her son Felice Gabriel, who is training as a cadet at the Military Academy (Akmil) in Magelang. She told reporters in Jakarta that she does not want him to chase material wealth, but to remain faithful to prayer wherever he is. When Gabriel stayed overnight at an apartment with friends, Perssik travelled to Magelang, expressed anger, and later accepted his apology after he explained the delay.

Perssik also noted the academy’s strict communication rules, allowing contact only on certain days and for limited periods. She said she monitors his return home and encourages him to keep his religious practice as the foundation for his future.
