Dexa Group subsidiary wins 2026 Indonesia Halal Industry Award

PT Ferron Par Pharmaceuticals, a member of Dexa Group, has received the 2026 Indonesia Halal Industry Awards (IHYA) from the Ministry of Industry. The company won in the Large Industry category for Best Pharmaceutical and Traditional Medicine.

This recognition follows the company's consistent implementation of the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) since 2019. Currently, all of the company's production facilities and more than 1,800 stock keeping units (SKUs) have obtained halal certification. The company stated that these standards are intended to maintain quality and strengthen competitiveness in both national and global markets.

During the award ceremony in Tangerang, Banten, Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita noted that developing the halal industry is a strategic move for Indonesia to enhance national industrial competitiveness. He highlighted the growing global Islamic economy, noting that Muslim consumer spending across six sharia economic sectors reached approximately USD 2.6 trillion in 2024 and is projected to rise to USD 3.6 trillion by 2029.
