Paramount+ announces October 30 premiere for Dexter: Resurrection Season 2
Paramount+ has announced that the second season of ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ will premiere on Friday, October 30, coinciding with the Halloween season and the 20th anniversary of the original franchise. A new teaser trailer features Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, showing the character undergoing an eye exam and sharpening weapons with the tagline, “He’s back. And sharper than ever.”
The upcoming season follows Dexter in New York City as he becomes caught between two different killers: a notorious figure with decades of history and a younger psychopath terrorizing the city. The narrative also explores Dexter’s personal struggle with a mid-life crisis and his evolving relationship with his son, Harrison, who is now 21 and working as an NYPD officer.
Returning cast members include Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar. New series regulars joining the cast are Dan Stevens, Bokeem Woodbine, Nona Parker Johnson, and Brian Cox. The series is led by showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips.
