Dexter: Resurrection season 2 trailer and release date announced

Paramount+ has released a new poster and official trailer for the second season of ‘Dexter: Resurrection’, scheduled to premiere on October 30, 2026. The series serves as a direct continuation of the ‘Dexter’ saga.

Set three years after the events of the first season, the plot follows Dexter Morgan as he navigates life in New York while struggling to manage his ‘Dark Passenger’. His son, Harrison, is now 21 years old and working as a NYPD agent, adding tension to their relationship and bringing Dexter closer to law enforcement. The narrative also introduces two new serial killers threatening the city: the ‘New York Ripper’, played by Brian Cox, and the ‘Five Borough Killer’, played by Dan Stevens.

Showrunner Clyde Phillips leads the production, which features a cast including Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, and Krysten Ritter. The season also explores Dexter facing a mid-life crisis alongside the external threats.
