Dezful industrial projects advance amid waste plant progress and sugar factory funding needs

Industrial development in Dezful is progressing through two major infrastructure projects. The construction of a municipal waste processing plant has accelerated, with the continuous purchase and installation of necessary machinery underway. The facility aims to reduce environmental pollution, improve public hygiene, and produce compost through advanced equipment like windrow turners.

Simultaneously, the Dezful Shohada Sugar Factory faces operational uncertainty due to a lack of rial and foreign currency resources. During a visit to the region, the Governor of the Central Bank noted that the factory requires financial support to reach its production capacity of 12,000 tons of sugar. Resolving these financial hurdles is seen as critical for local employment and reducing the logistical burden of transporting sugar beets to other provinces.
