The German Football Association (DFB) has issued 224 stadium bans following a planned mass brawl that was intercepted by police in Thuringia this past April. The incident occurred prior to a second-division match between 1. FC Nürnberg and Dynamo Dresden.
The sanctions affect supporters from seven different clubs. Specifically, the DFB issued 83 bans related to 1. FC Nürnberg, 78 related to Dynamo Dresden, 28 for FC Schalke 04, 22 for FSV Zwickau, and 6 for Chemnitzer FC. Additionally, one person each from the supporters of Rapid Wien and Slavia Prag were sanctioned. Five individuals received bans without a clear connection to a specific club.
Based on individual risk assessments and the severity of the cases, the bans carry varying durations ranging from 10 to 30 months.
