DFCC Bank wins growth and profitability awards in India

DFCC Bank has received two national awards at the 4th ICC Emerging Asia Banking Conclave & Awards 2026 held in New Delhi, India. The bank was recognized for ‘Best Performance on Growth – Sri Lanka’ and ‘Best Performance on Profitability – Sri Lanka’.

The awards, organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), honor financial institutions across emerging Asian markets. The accolades were presented to Anton Arumugam, Senior Vice President of Offshore Banking, Remittances and Business Development at DFCC Bank, by K. G. P. Sirikumara, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

Thimal Perera, Director and Chief Executive Officer of DFCC Bank, noted that the recognition in both growth and profitability is significant, as it allows the institution to continue investing in personnel, technology, and customer experience while maintaining financial discipline and operational resilience.
