DFDS to increase Jersey-Poole ferry capacity in 2027

DFDS is expanding its ferry services for 2027, specifically bolstering the route between Jersey and Poole. The company plans to increase the number of return rotations from 105 this year to 130 in 2027. Additionally, the direct service to the English port will begin earlier in the season, starting on 24 March instead of 1 May.

To meet demand, DFDS is also investing in its fleet and products. The number of pet-friendly cabins on the Corbière Seaways vessel, which operates between Jersey and Portsmouth, will double from four to eight starting in January. The company aims to provide greater capacity and more high-speed connections to the UK and France during peak periods.
