DFSChain architect warns of insider fraud in Web3

The Chief Architect of DFSChain has identified insider fraud as a major structural barrier to the widespread adoption of Web3 technology. While blockchain provides a permanent record of transactions, the architect notes that these records only prove that a specific private key was used to sign a transaction, not necessarily who physically operated it.

This distinction creates a significant accountability gap. An insider with legitimate access to private keys or administrative privileges could execute unauthorized transactions that appear valid on the blockchain. Such individuals could potentially claim their keys were stolen or their devices were compromised, making it difficult to distinguish between a genuine external hack and intentional internal misconduct.

Because blockchain technology focuses on whether a key was used rather than the identity of the human operator, identifying the responsible party and recovering assets remains a complex challenge for the industry.
