DFSChain implements stablecoin gas fees and expanded transaction recording

DIFINES has announced significant technical updates to the DFSChain blockchain aimed at improving user accessibility and transaction transparency.

On its testnet, DFSChain has successfully implemented a feature allowing users to pay for gas fees using supported stablecoins instead of requiring the native DFS coin. This development aims to lower the barrier to entry for new users who may hold stablecoins but do not own DFS. The company is also working on a feature to allow gas payments via project-specific credit tokens.

Additionally, DFSChain has expanded its transaction recording capabilities to include transactions made with regular service credits. Previously, the blockchain primarily recorded transactions involving credit tokens. By recording transactions made with standard service balances—such as those purchased via credit cards—the network can now reflect a wider range of real-world activities, including low-cost AI services and retail purchases. These transactions are verifiable via the DFSScan explorer.

DIFINES has set a target to reach 3 million cumulative transactions on the DFSChain by April 2027, focusing on transactions driven by actual service usage rather than speculative trading.
