DFSK expands E5 Plus PHEV SUV presence to Medan

PT Sokonindo Automobile, the brand holder for DFSK in Indonesia, is expanding the presence of the DFSK E5 Plus in Medan. Following previous launches in Palembang and Tangerang, the regional launch at Centre Point Mall Medan is scheduled for August 25–30, 2026.

This expansion represents a strategic shift for DFSK in the Indonesian market, moving from a focus on commercial vehicles toward the premium passenger SUV segment. The E5 Plus utilizes Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) technology, marketed under the philosophy ‘Electric for Daily, Hybrid for Journey.’

The vehicle features a 25.3 kWh battery and a total driving range of up to 1,400 kilometers based on NEDC standards, aiming to provide both electric efficiency for daily use and hybrid flexibility for long-distance travel.
