DGT announces traffic restrictions for Ironman 70.3 in Málaga

The Spanish Directorate-General for Traffic (DGT) has announced traffic restrictions in Málaga due to the Ironman 70.3 sporting event. The competition will take place on municipal roads across Málaga, Rincón de la Victoria, Vélez-Málaga, Algarrobo, and Torrox.

Specific disruptions include the closure of the cycling route between Málaga and Torrox, where only authorized organizational, traffic surveillance, and emergency vehicles are permitted. The N-340a road will be closed in both directions between kilometer points 250+400 and 283+950 from 07:00 until the end of the cycling segment, expected around 15:00. Additionally, access ramps on the A-7 Mediterranean Motorway connecting to the MA-3204 (Chilches) and the N-340a will face closures between 08:00 and 14:30.
