Spanish police arrest suspects for weapons and drug offenses

Spanish law enforcement agencies have conducted separate operations resulting in arrests for weapons and drug offenses.

In Estepa, the Guardia Civil's Osuna Traffic Detachment detained three individuals following a vehicle inspection on the A-92 highway. Officers discovered two 9mm semi-automatic pistols, over 50 rounds of ammunition, two large knives, an extensible baton, and more than 20,000 euros in cash. The suspects face investigation for illegal possession of weapons.

In Chiclana, local police arrested a 56-year-old man in the La Barrosa area for public health offenses. During a patrol, officers intercepted a vehicle with foreign license plates and discovered approximately 56 grams of cocaine hidden under a seat, along with 774 euros in cash. Two other individuals fled the scene during the intervention.
