Dhananjaya's 'Anna From Mexico' Locks Dec 24 Christmas Release

Kannada actor Dhananjaya is set to return to the big screen with the film *Anna From Mexico*, which has secured a theatrical release on December 24, targeting the lucrative Christmas holiday window. The movie has completed shooting and is now in post‑production.

The project reunites Dhananjaya with director Shankar Guru, following their earlier success with *Badava Rascal*. Intended originally as a straight‑action entertainer, the film was re‑worked into a family‑oriented commercial picture. Supporting cast members from *Badava Rascal* such as Nagabhushan and Poorchandra Mysuru return, while veteran actor Rangayana Raghu and newcomer Reeshma Nanaiah (the female lead) also join the lineup. The technical crew includes composer Vasuki Vaibhav, cinematographer SK Rao, editor Ajay and art director Guna. Production is handled by Rayala Studios in association with Aaira Films, with backing from Anand Audio and Zee Studios.

The December 24 slot may affect the schedule of Dhananjaya’s other upcoming project, *666 Operation Dream Theatre* starring Shivarajkumar, prompting speculation about whether that film will be released earlier or pushed to 2027.
