Dhanush releases trailer for GV Prakash horror thriller Immortal

Actor and producer Dhanush has released the trailer for ‘Immortal’, an upcoming Tamil horror thriller directed by Mariyappan Chinna. The film stars GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles.

The trailer depicts a narrative that begins with a tribal couple in a foreign land before shifting to India. The story follows Mahi (GV Prakash Kumar), who moves into a room shared with Sindhu (Kayadu Lohar) after falling for her. As Mahi attempts to settle down with the wealthy and attractive Sindhu, the plot takes a dark turn involving disturbing developments within the flat, suggesting Sindhu may have knowledge of the supernatural occurrences.

The film has received a clean ‘U’ certificate from the censor board and is scheduled for theatrical release on September 4, 2026.
