Dhanush reportedly shifts focus toward commercial film projects

Actor Dhanush is reportedly shifting his focus toward commercial entertainers following recent box office performances. His upcoming projects include ‘Om’, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, which is expected to release in November or December this year. Following this, he is slated to work on a project with Tamizharasan Pachamuthu and another with Siruthai Siva.

Speculation regarding his future lineup includes a potential revival of the ‘Maari’ franchise with director Balaji Mohan, possibly featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander. Additionally, there are reports that director Shiva Nirvana, known for the film ‘Irumudi’, is in talks for a bilingual project with the actor. While some fans express optimism about these collaborations, others have raised concerns regarding the success of his previous bilingual ventures in the Tamil market.
