Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed retirement Maldives telecom leadership change

Ismail Rasheed, chief executive of Maldives telecom operator Dhiraagu, has announced his retirement after serving as CEO for 11 years. The decision will take effect following a 30‑day notice period, during which the board will oversee the transition. Rasheed’s tenure included the rollout of new digital services and the expansion of the company’s network infrastructure.

The board thanked Rasheed for his contributions and indicated that a successor will be appointed to continue the company’s strategic initiatives.
