DHL and Vinted expand second‑hand shipping partnership in Germany

DHL and Vinted are deepening their collaboration in Germany to streamline the shipment of used goods sold on the Vinted platform. The partnership will emphasise the use of DHL Packstations and a locker‑to‑locker model, allowing sellers to drop parcels at any automated kiosk and buyers to collect them at a convenient location without home‑delivery.

DHL will contribute its network of roughly 41,000 pickup and drop‑off points, including Packstations, post stations and other automated lockers. The companies aim to grow the automated network to more than 30,000 sites by 2030. By integrating shipping labels and pickup codes directly into the Vinted app, the process reduces the need for multiple applications and emails, lowering the risk of transaction failures. According to the firms, about 67 % of German online shoppers have already sold items through an online marketplace, underscoring the demand for a smoother logistics solution for peer‑to‑peer sales.
