DHL expands Singapore logistics with new healthcare hub and SIA partnership

DHL is expanding its logistics footprint in Singapore through two major developments at Changi Airport. DHL Global Forwarding Singapore will establish a 3,047sqm dedicated healthcare logistics facility, known as the DHL Singapore Coldchain Hub, at Changi Nexus One. Scheduled for completion by the end of next year, the hub will feature temperature-control capabilities and direct airside access to manage high-value, time-sensitive life sciences and healthcare cargo.

Simultaneously, DHL Express has renewed its partnership with Singapore Airlines to maintain its intercontinental air network. Under the agreement, Singapore Airlines pilots and engineers will continue to operate and maintain five Boeing 777 freighters based at Changi Airport. These aircraft connect DHL’s South Asia Hub in Singapore to key destinations in the United States, supporting time-definite express and e-commerce shipments.
