DHL opens new parcel shop in Herten, Germany

DHL has opened a new parcel shop within the telecommunications business Flat-Com in Herten, Germany. Located at Kaiserstraße 1–3 in the Hertener Höfe area, the shop allows customers to pick up and send parcels and packages.

The facility is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00. Customers can drop off pre-franked parcels, packages, and returns. The location also offers the "Postfiliale Direkt" service, enabling customers to have shipments sent directly to the shop for later pickup.

This expansion is part of a broader effort by Deutsche Post and DHL to grow their network of parcel collection points. DHL currently operates approximately 10,000 parcel shops, contributing to a total of around 41,500 parcel collection and sales points across Germany.
