Dhoot Transmission shares hit 52-week high following successful IPO
Dhoot Transmission Limited has seen its shares rise nearly 6% to reach a 52-week high of Rs 1,495, marking an increase of approximately 70% from its initial public offering (IPO) price. The company listed on the exchanges on August 17, opening nearly 38% above its issue price of Rs 871.
The Rs 3,066.885 crore IPO consisted of 35,218,047 equity shares, including a fresh issue and an offer for sale involving shares from BC Asia Investments XV Limited (Bain Capital). The offering saw significant investor interest, with subscription levels exceeding 74 times.
Headquartered in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Dhoot Transmission specializes in the design and manufacture of electrical and electronic components, such as wiring harnesses, electronic sensors, automotive switches, and connectors. These products serve both conventional and electric vehicle segments.
