Dia al-Azzawi to hold solo exhibition at La Galerie 38 Genève

La Galerie 38 Genève will host a solo exhibition by Dia al-Azzawi, a prominent figure in Arab modern and contemporary art, from September 17 to December 19, 2026. The exhibition, titled ‘Inner Worlds, Under Open Skies’, is part of Geneva Art Week and the Nuit des Bains.

The collection features a new series of recent paintings divided into two themes. ‘Inner Worlds’ focuses on the domestic sphere, using objects, furniture, and memories to explore the home as a space of creation and memory. ‘Under Open Skies’ shifts focus to the external world, featuring landscapes, gardens, and mountains. Inspiration for these works includes the mountains of Lebanon and the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech.

An opening event with the artist is scheduled for September 16, followed by a second opening on September 17.
