Dia browser to launch on Windows this fall
The Browser Company announced that its AI‑first Dia browser, originally released for macOS, will become available on Windows in the upcoming fall. A beta version is planned, with users able to join a waitlist for early access. Dia is built on the Chromium engine and integrates AI features that can summarize pages, answer questions using browsing context, and compare products across tabs.
The service currently offers a freemium model with limited free AI usage and a Pro subscription priced at $20 per month for unlimited AI features. Experts have cautioned about potential privacy and data‑handling concerns with AI‑driven browsers, but the Windows rollout is expected to give Dia a broader market presence beyond Apple devices.
