Diablo IV Season 14 “Season of Death Awakening” launches June 30 with Mythic Uniques and free Warlock trial

Blizzard Entertainment announced that Diablo IV’s Season 14, titled “Season of Death Awakening”, will begin on 30 June 2026. The update adds a new end‑game activity called Pandemonium Ruptures, which open dynamic portals that spawn waves of enemies, and leads to the Deathtoll Chamber mini‑dungeon. A new seasonal boss, the Corrupted Reaper, will appear in the Pandemonium‑Threshold area.

A major change to itemisation arrives with Mythic Uniques 3.0: any Unique item can be upgraded to Mythic quality using Horadric Cubes and Pandemonium Fragments, gaining a 30 % power boost and guaranteed maximum affix values. Blizzard confirmed the Mythic items will retain their powerful affixes.

Season 14 also introduces a Solo Self‑Found (SSF) mode that disables trading and grouping, along with a fully launched Tower ranking system and seasonal leaderboards. An Overwatch crossover will provide exclusive cosmetics obtainable through a new in‑game currency.

Players can test the new Warlock class for free from 30 June to 7 July, with progress carried over if they purchase the Lord of Hatred expansion. The trial is available on Battle.net, PlayStation and Xbox platforms (not on Steam).
