Diablo 4 patch 3.1.1 boosts mythic loot rewards
Blizzard released patch 3.1.1 for Diablo 4’s Season 14, arriving two weeks after the season began. The update raises mythic loot rewards: every Glints of Hope turn‑in now grants a guaranteed Pandemonium Fragment, and defeating the Corrupted Reaper can yield up to two fragments depending on Torment level. The number of fragments required in the Horadric Cube to upgrade an item to mythic drops from five to four. The chance for an iconic mythic drop has been increased, and the Sword of Justice (El'Druin) has been added to the blacksmith’s mythic cache.
Additional changes include a seasonal reputation board placed in Temis, a guaranteed Superior Lair Key from Deathtoll Chambers at high Torment tiers, and a fix for a bug that prevented certain uniques from dropping as mythics. No class balance changes were made. Community response noted the modest size of the patch and its timing, but the adjustments are viewed as positive steps toward easing the difficulty of acquiring mythic items.
