Diablo 4 players uncover long-running Lucky Coin secret quest

Players of Diablo 4 have reportedly uncovered the conclusion to a multi-year hidden quest chain centered around the ‘Lucky Coin’. The discovery follows three years of community investigation, datamining, and coordination by groups such as the ‘Not Finding a Cow Level’ Discord community.

According to player reports, the final stage of the quest requires a full party of four players to defeat four specific rare elites in the Skartara region nearly simultaneously. Success grants the ‘Luckiest Coin’, which must be placed under a pillow south of Temis. After a 24-hour period, the ‘Amulet of Dark Omens’ reportedly appears, though players have only a two-minute window to retrieve it.

When equipped with the ‘Ring of Misfortune’ and the ‘Ring of the Jinx’, the amulet opens a portal in Lorath’s cabin within the Fractured Peaks. This leads to a special area called the Foyer, where players face a boss encounter consisting of dark echoes of the characters Donan, Neyrelle, and Lorath. Those who defeat the trio are said to receive a ‘Horadric Coin’.
