Diablo IV confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 with September 2026 release

Multiple leaks attributed to the well‑known Dealabs insider billbil‑kun indicate that Blizzard’s action‑RPG Diablo IV will be ported to Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 console. The port is slated for mid‑September 2026, with two possible launch dates – 15 September or 18 September – and a retail price of $69.99 (≈ €69.99, £69.99). The game will be sold both digitally via the eShop and in a physical “code‑in‑a‑box” edition that contains only a download code, not a cartridge or Game‑Key Card. Classification listings from Indonesia and Taiwan have already referenced the Switch 2 as a supported platform, lending credibility to the rumor. An official announcement is expected at Gamescom in Cologne (late August), where Xbox will have a stand and Blizzard is likely to confirm the release. It remains unclear whether the Lord of Hatred expansion will be bundled. This follows earlier Nintendo ports of Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 3, and Rod Fergusson has previously confirmed the Switch 2 hardware can run the title.
