To manage the 14-hour time difference between Indonesia and the United States, Permatasari uses Snapchat to monitor her son, Marciano Nicholas Reynard, while he studies at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She utilizes the application's location feature to track his activities, especially since he is often slow to respond to WhatsApp messages. Permatasari noted that she remains deeply involved in her children's lives, prioritizing their behavior, manners, and education.
