Diamantino to host Environment Week closing ceremony

The City of Diamantino, through its Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture and Environment, will hold the closing ceremony for Environment Week on Sunday, September 13, in the city's Historic Center.

The event includes the awards ceremony for the first “Diamantino Environmental Protector” drawing contest, which recognizes the work of students from the municipal school system. The program also features a local craft fair to showcase the work of regional artisans, alongside various activities aimed at environmental awareness and community participation.

Milton Criveletto, the Municipal Secretary of Agriculture and Environment, emphasized the importance of extending environmental education from schools to the entire community, noting that environmental preservation is a collective responsibility.
