Diamniadio homebuyers demand housing from Teyliom Immobilier

Hundreds of homebuyers in Diamniadio, Senegal, are demanding the delivery of housing units promised nearly a decade ago by Teyliom Immobilier. The real estate project, led by developer Yérim Sow, involves between 760 and 790 planned homes and villas.

Representatives for the buyers, including collective spokespeople Khayar Thiam and Iba Diop, report that many families have invested their life savings into the project, including members of the Senegalese diaspora. The long delay has caused significant financial uncertainty and distress, with some subscribers passing away before receiving their properties.

The collective is calling on Teyliom Immobilier to end its silence and provide a clear, verifiable delivery schedule. They are also requesting urgent intervention from the Senegalese state to resolve the impasse.
