Diamond Cat Studio announces Ylem’s Cat action-adventure game

Diamond Cat Studio has announced Ylem’s Cat, a new action-adventure game currently in development for PC via Steam. The game follows a young girl named Molly and her companion cat, Mio, as they journey through the ruins of a dying planet.

Players will explore a world filled with mysteries, including the disappearance of Molly’s mother and the presence of massive, enigmatic beings. A central mechanic involves the bond between Molly and Mio; the cat possesses the ability to change its size and shape, offering unique abilities that assist in both exploration and combat.

The title features “Knowledge-Driven Combat and Exploration,” where players must observe the behaviors of enemies, such as the Sentinels, and environmental phenomena to gain the knowledge necessary to progress. While an announcement trailer has been released showcasing combat and world visuals, a specific release date has not yet been established.
