Diamond League finals in Brussels see standout athletic performances

The second day of the Diamond League finals in Brussels featured several standout performances. Jamaican Rajindra Campbell secured a victory in the shot put with a world-leading performance of 23.08 m, followed by Americans Jordan Geist and Joe Kovacs.

In the women's events, Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic set a Diamond League record in the 400m with a time of 48.64 seconds. China's Jen Si won the javelin throw with a distance of 68.42 m, while Jamaica's Tina Clayton took first place in the women's 100m with a time of 10.93 s.

Other notable results included Klaudia Kazimierska of Poland winning the 1500m in a meeting record of 3:54.05, and Bahrain's Birhanu Yemataw Balew winning the 5000m with a time of 12:45.70. In the men's triple jump, Italy's Andy Diaz Hernandez took first place with a jump of 17.74 m.
