Tanzanian music stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl, on Instagram on 2 August 2026. Diamond shared a photo taken in the maternity ward shortly after the delivery, writing, “Welcome to the world, our precious little angel. You are already loved more than words can ever say!” and used pink emojis to mark the occasion. The couple has not revealed the baby’s name.

Following the announcement, Diamond posted a light‑hearted message urging relatives to bring money rather than flowers when visiting the newborn, joking that “the flowers are enough, bring cash instead.” Fans and fellow artists across East Africa flooded the posts with congratulatory messages and well‑wishes for mother and child.
