Diana Morant criticizes Valencian government during General Policy Debate
Diana Morant, Secretary General of the PSPV-PSOE and Minister of Science, Innovation, and Universities, has criticized the current Valencian government during the General Policy Debate in Les Corts. Morant characterized the administration as the ‘worst government at the worst time’ for the Valencian Community, alleging that its management puts lives at risk.
Morant predicted that this would be the final General Policy Debate for President Juanfran Pérez Llorca, suggesting his political cycle is exhausted. She further claimed that the government's decisions are heavily influenced by Vox, stating that the coalition conditions all regional decisions.
Additionally, the PSPV-PSOE has proposed resolutions demanding that former President and current deputy Carlos Mazón resign his seat due to his management of the ‘Dana’ weather catastrophe. The party also requested that Mazón hand over his WhatsApp messages to judicial authorities to assist in ongoing investigations. Other proposals include investigating alleged irregularities among high-ranking officials and regulating gifts received by officials to prevent conflicts of interest.
