Rapid Bucharest owner Dan Șucu resolves dispute with coach Daniel Pancu

Following a public dispute involving the playing time of 17-year-old Andrei Șucu, Rapid Bucharest owner Dan Șucu held an emergency meeting to decide the future of coach Daniel Pancu. It was determined that Pancu will remain with the team, as the owner concluded that the coach's comments regarding the young player did not make him incompatible with the club or the Șucu family.

As part of the resolution, Andrei Șucu will remain at the club but will be sent to play matches for CSL Ștefăneștii de Jos in Liga 2 to gain more experience. The tension originated after Pancu started Andrei Șucu in a match against Csikszereda but substituted him at halftime, later stating the player was not yet ready for the SuperLiga level.
