Diana Unheard documentary to feature unreleased audio recordings

A new three-part documentary series titled ‘Diana Unheard’ will be presented at the MIPCOM international content market in Cannes, France, from October 12 to 15. Produced by Love Monday TV, the series features five hours of previously unreleased audio recordings from 1991.

The recordings consist of private conversations between Princess Diana and her friend James Colthurst. In the audios, the Princess speaks candidly about her personal life, her relationships, and the British Royal Family, including her views on the then-Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, and Prince Andrew.

Creative Director Kerene Barefield stated that the production aims to challenge the common narrative of Diana as a ‘passive victim of her circumstances.’ Instead, the series intends to portray her as a woman who took control of her own narrative and risked everything to make her voice heard.
