Diane Keaton's former Los Angeles mansion sells for $18 million

The estate of actress Diane Keaton has sold her former Los Angeles residence in Sullivan Canyon for $18 million. The sale, which closed on Tuesday, occurred approximately ten months after the Oscar-winning actress passed away at age 79 in October.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom farmhouse was originally listed in March 2025 for $28.9 million. Following three separate relistings, the most recent asking price was reduced to $22.9 million in June before the final sale was reached. Keaton purchased the 9,219-square-foot property in 2011 for $4.7 million and spent eight years renovating it, a process she detailed in her 2017 book, ‘The House That Pinterest Built’.

Josh Flagg of Compass represented the seller, while Emil Alexander Schneeman of Berkshire Hathaway represented the unidentified buyer. The sale was overseen by Keaton’s children and primary estate beneficiaries, Dexter “Dexie” White and Duke Keaton.
