Diano Castello to host sacred music concert at San Nicola da Bari

The medieval village of Diano Castello is set to host a sacred music concert titled ‘Dixit Dominus – I salmi vespertini tra Barocco e Classicismo’ on September 19, 2026. Held at the Collegiate Church of San Nicola da Bari, the event is part of the Castrum Musicæ festival under the artistic direction of Nicholas Tagliatini.

The program explores three centuries of sacred music, focusing on the musical centers of Bologna, Milan, and Venice. Featured works include ‘Domine ad adjuvandum me festina’ by Giovanni Battista Martini, the ‘Dixit Dominus in Re maggiore’ by Johann Christian Bach, and the ‘Magnificat in Sol minore RV 611’ by Antonio Vivaldi.
